I finally fulfilled a grail of mine and picked up a game used Houston Astros Flannel. This is a 1970 Home gamer of Gary Geiger. As many on here may know Astros flannel gamers are extremely hard to come by. The team was not in existence that long in the flannel era. Also a lot of the gamers that didn't make it out during that particular season were stored in trunks in the depths of the Astrodome. Well mold, mildew, moister, and rot took hold and when they cleaned them out in the later 70's most had to be thrown away.
Now the question is to restore the back number?
A grand for a Molina jersey? Please show me where one has sold for cheaper than that....freaking steal for a future HoF!
Settle down. It is a good price for Molina. I didn't realize he actually played that day until I read his stat line. I don't understand how it went for 1k actually -the auction lasted 10 days.....guess it shows where his market is these days. Anyways enjoy it!

I don't know if it's so much of a reflection of where the market is, but rather how they've been running their auctions over the last couple of years. I don't think in the last two years that they've run an auction for a game used jersey and haven't had a reserve (which usually happens to be what they were asking for in their initial email). So, I for one have stopped paying attention to their auctions. I didn't even realize they were running a bunch of jersey w/out a reserve.
With that said, I think $1,000 is really what a Molina 1 day jersey should be selling for. There are way too many of these 1 day jerseys now. It's silly to believe that every one of them is worth $2,500.
