The Cardinals items this month are ridiculous! Here are a few more...

    1. 2010 David Freese: Uncracked, heavy use, dates to early 2010 due to presence of tape on handle.

    2. 2013 Adam Wainwright: Uncracked, moderate use, photomatched to the 8th inning of Game 5 of the 2013 NLDS. Adam pitched a complete game for the first and only time during the playoffs, allowing only one run. This bat was used in Adam's best overall playoff performance.

    3. 2011 Matt Holliday: Uncracked, heavy use, dates to late 2011 when Matt used these unfinished LVS bats a handful of times.

    4. 2013 Adron Chambers: Uncracked, heavy use, issued for the 2013 World Series. Adron was not selected for the 2013 World Series roster, but was with the team and likely took batting practice using this bat.

Picked up a 2011 Pujols game worn jersey. Jersey is a one gamer (jersey of your back day) and was then raffled off. Glad to get a 2011 Pujols for my 2011 set. Been a very tough find. Only about 4 more 2011 jerseys to go to have the complete WS roster.

Bob Skinner St. Louis Cardinals (1964-66) H&B LS 125, S2 with 19 on the knob, cracked handle but intact, oddly enough with a vintage Don Sutton auto in ink on the barrel.

I picked up a hammered 2005 Pujols jersey. There are sweat stains, pilling, you name it. Signed perfect in silver pen on the back "5". I have photomatched it to several homeruns during the first half of the season. Below are some of my favorite shots. This jersey appears in countless games on getty....clearly one of alberts favorites from the season. No doubt one of my favorite pick ups.

Lamabe went 3-4 with 4 saves and a 2.83 ERA for the Cards that year and pitched in three games in the World Series.

Nice find, Dave. You have more than a few Cardinals enthusiasts reading this who might have some good White Sox items to swap you for it.

Awesome bat! I jut saw a signed 1933 Goudey card of Pepper on eBay...it might make a cool companion piece.

Perhaps you guys can share custody. You get the ball on even weeks and Alex gets the ball on odd weeks, and you can flip a coin to figure out who gets the ball for the different holidays.

Although we love the baseball its impossible to split it in two and so we have sent the ball into Goldin Auctions via Ken Goldin. Goldin has sold so many big game artifacts and so it was really the only place to consider. We look forward to the auction Ken!

Freese in the below article says he considers it a bigger hit than his walk off home run in the bottom of the 11th.

The Corvette he won as World Series MVP is waiting at home for David Freese to drive -- provided he can pry the keys from his dad, that is.

The ball was sold by Highland Mint to us as the VERY NEXT pitch following the triple and was authenticated as such...."ball in the dirt Yadier Molina". Once we tracked the ball after the triple by Freese from youtube videos we were able to see that pitcher Feliz never threw the ball in for a new one and quickly Molina came up to bat for that pitch in the dirt. After the pitch in the dirt the ball was thrown out and authenticated. Needless to say we were excited to find this very important historical baseball that seemed to be lost to time. Upon receiving the ball we also noted a black bat mark on the ball. Freese batted with a black bat in the 9th.

Although we love the baseball its impossible to split it in two and so we have sent the ball into Goldin Auctions via Ken Goldin. Goldin has sold so many big game artifacts and so it was really the only place to consider. We look forward to the auction Ken!

Heres a link to the ranking of the hit and some other huge WS moments:
