I couldn't agree more on those "lineman" cuts...they're 100% bogus! I was thinking more along these lines....

These jerseys have shorter sleeves than his game jerseys. However, it seems the questionable Mannings had "lineman" sleeves, which are almost sleeveless.

I was watching the 2006 NFL Pro Bowl Skills Competition today and I noticed that Peyton Manning was wearing a jersey that to me appeared to be "game cut" vs. retail "authentic". I happened to notice that the sleeves were "shorter" that his "game used" jersey's and may explain, why we have seen some of these in the hobby. Moreover, I referenced Getty and found these images from 2005 and 2006 depicting the "shorter" sleeves....just my thoughts....
