George Brett 1974 Game Used

I picked these up a few months ago and have been scouring the internet to prove to myself that these are not Brett's. I have compared them to every jersey tagging I can find for the Royals jersey in 1974, they all match. Also every photo I can find from 1974. So does someone see anything wrong? Yes Brett wore #25 in 1974. After my research I believe he is wearing his 1974 jersey on his 1975 Rookie card with #25 on back. The "5" is very close to his right shoulder on card. Be glad to post more pictures. Thanks!

Given the limited info on the strip tag, it's possible that the 25 is an inseam measurement, not a uniform number. Players didn't wear the shoe top length pants then like they do now.

Inseam is 21.5"
