1963 Bo Belinsky Los Angeles Angels home flannel:

The jersey is in great, all-original shape, from a team and era that is tough to find. It has direct provenance from a former Los Angeles/California Angels clubhouse employee and lifelong friend of Bo's.
Belinsky had quite a life - a background of growing up poor, finding success as a pool hustler, then in baseball gaining reputation as a wild partier in the minors, outweighing his tremendous stuff. He finally got his first big shot with the expansion Angels, who drafted him from the Orioles roster. As a rookie, he threw the first no-hitter in MLB in the state of California (against his old team, Baltimore) and truly gained instant celebrity status as a man about town. He was more well known for dating actresses like Mamie Van Doren, Ursula Andress (Bond girl), Ann Margret, Connie Francis and Tina Louise (yes, Ginger). He later married a Playmate of the Year, divorced, then married and divorced the Weyerhaeuser paper heiress. His time with the Angels more or less ended when he had a hotel room fight with an elderly LA Times sportswriter. The story was the writer came by the hotel inebriated in the middle of the night and challenged Bo to a fight and so, Belinsky threw a glass of water in his face, punches were thrown and they found the writer unconscious with blood coming out his ear. The writer was tight with the Angels GM, so Bo was traded, he bounced around baseball and just flamed out. He battled severe substance abuse for years, then got clean and sober and became a counselor against alcoholism in his later years. In SoCal baseball, he was a cautionary tale about untapped potential, the million dollar arm, ten cent head type of story.

1991 Ken Griffey Jr. bat -

An early Mariners bat that I had owned about 6 years ago, so employed the time tested sell low, buy high method...

    1999 Carlos Delgado bat -

A big 35/35 bat from a big year with the Blue Jays, 44 HR and 134 RBIs, the bat has pretty extreme barrel use on it.

I described the bat incorrectly. It does have a handle crack on the back side of that photo!! For some reason the edit option is not available on that particular post of mine.?

That was an Ebay bargain. That Lizard Tape scared buyers away and put me in to a frenzy to find a style match before bidding ended. Looking to buy more of his bats if you have any leads.

Paul Konerko autographed game used LVS cracked with MLB Holo. Always wanted a Konerko gamer and they are surprisingly tough to find. I do have to hide this from my Cub friends when they visit so I don't lose my street cred.

Giancarlo Stanton game used Marucci cracked with MLB Holo. Bat shows awesome use with bat weight marks, deep seam impressions, ink transfers and grass stuck in the pine tar. It's authenticated to a top of the 9th bases loaded single which plated two Marlins at Coors Field.

Charlie Blackmon game used Old Hickory uncracked with MLB Holo. Took me a while to find a Blackmon Bat with MLB authentication that was for sale. This is actually my favorite bat of this lot.

Odubel Herrera game used LVS cracked with rare Lizard Tape. Took me a while to find evidence of Odubel using a LVS with Lizard Tape but my research paid off. I was able to find photos and some game footage of him swinging a similar if not the same bat.
