Fun thread! It's a minor league piece, but no one does patriotic jerseys like the minors!

2004 Salem (Va.) Avalanche (Astros - A Adv.) All American Friday Alternate jersey, worn by Fernando Nieve. They wore these every Friday night at home that year.

    Eric,
Just looked at the patriotic pieces today, missed the 4th. Noted the lack of bats posted and thought you all might like to see my Mike Timlin "DAWG" Sam bat from 2003. Anyone ever seen this tape application on any player's bat? Also am posting some pictures of my Daric Barton bat. I read somewhere on the forum someone posted something on his bats and couldn't relocate. Anyhow this Rawlings is from his 2003 tenure with the Johnson City Cardinals.
This is my first attempt to load pictures on the forum and I need to thank Jeff Scott for instructions that I could understand.
I have several Cardinal bats and will be glad to supply photos of a player(s), provided I have that player(s) bat.
The Timlin and Barton bats are not for sale.........

"Splendid Splinter" Ted Williams signed bat with mint pre-stroke signature from the Claudia Williams Trust (Ted's daughter)

Bat is for sale if anyone is interested. Comes with a hologram and COA from Jerry Romolt of Pro Sport Services and Claudia Williams. Bat has never been displayed and is stored in the original cardboard bat tube.

    Happy 4th, Bobby

The jersey originated from a private collector....no provenance or statement from the original seller that it was worn...if this wasn't the jersey worn in that Thanksgiving game in 2002, then it was definitely a back up…after all, for one game, how many jerseys are they going to prepare for on field use???

    Eric,

That Curly 'Trotters jersey is the coolest thing I've ever seen posted here.
    Love it.
