look at the tongue. the GFC shoes have "CON" (not "CONS") written in green. the getty image shows bird wearing shoes with "CONS" and it's written in white. GFC is saying that bird wore different shoes in Game 6 than he did in Game 3.

I'm a little leery of these shoes. I found a photo of him playing the Cav's and they were white, not green. BUT, maybe somebody will have better luck finding a match. I wouldn't touch them without a photo match. That's just how I am with Grey Flannel.

So, I guess no photo exists of these shoes that Larry wore in the last game of his career? Auction ends Saturday. I emailed them to tell me what size they were and they said it doesn't say. Well, at least measure them! Bird wore a size 13.5. Isnt' that as important as knowing what size bat a player used? So, I'm leaning towards these shoes and the Bird warmup jacket as no good (see thread on Bird warmup jacket). Sad.
