'Best Offers'

We wanted to make sure everyone knew that a number of items in the GUU store have a 'Best Offer' feature which allows potential buyers to make offers on items in the store. Once an offer is made, GUU will check with the consignors to see whether or not the offer is acceptable.

Notably, when the offer is made, both GUU and the person submitting the offer are supposed to receive emails from the system. The emails are intended to notify GUU of the offer as well as let the potential buyer know the offer has been submitted. However, I spoke with someone today who submitted a 'Best Offer' and, unfortunately, neither they nor GUU received the system generated email.

While our developers are looking into the problem, if you have recently submitted a 'Best Offer' on any store item, I will ask that you please send an email to my attention at chris@gameuseduniverse.com or call me at 925.552.8023 to make sure we are aware of your offer. I will be happy to confirm your offer and get back to you as quickly as possible to let you know if it is acceptable.

Thank you for your post. We will likely begin accepting additional consignments in about a week or so (we are focusing right now on making a few enhancements to the software first). At that time we will provide the consignment information for those interested.
