Matt Williams Cooper Professional Model Used Bat circa Late-1980s-Mid 1990s

Throughout his seventeen-year career, Matt Williams was an offensive threat in the line-up, and one of his teams' top power hitters. Playing in San Francisco, Cleveland, and Arizona, Williams hit 378 home runs, and won a HR crown in 1994. A veteran of three World Series, this five-time All Star was a member of the 2001 Arizona Diamondbacks World Championship team.

This 35-inch Cooper (C)M110 weighs approximately 33 ounces and was manufactured by Cooper. The model is consistent with Matt Williams' orders from H & B during the period. This style of professional labeling was first seen in the late 1980s and continued into the mid- 1990s. This highly lacquered bat is uncracked and shows light use in the form of rack marks and several hit marks. Additional wear is seen at the knob area of the handle. Cooper labeling on the knob indicating lwngth and weight is present as well. This is a relatively rare bat for the Matt Williams collector and is a real beauty when displayed. View Lot Detail page
