Like David, I also have Todd Hundley bats... a Lenny Dykstra Tennessee Thumper (ouch to Robert, the owner of his 86 WS jersey)... and a Troy Glaus g/u Big League Challenge jersey. Not much of a pounding.

I'd hate to be in Andrew's shoes at this time regarding the Clemens stuff.
I tend to think that the '86 Dykstra WS jersey would maintain most or all of its value because of the overall significance of the item. The right year, the right team, the right jersey, and an important player.

I acquired a brown sam bat from adam riggs when he was with the memphis redbirds in 2003 and he then autographed the barrell in gold paint pen. "Stay Honest Adam Riggs +" .....I wish that was the story adam...i wish it was..but still an interesting item.

I am the proud owner of a 2003 Roger Clemens Yankees jersey, with Steiner docs. It's the gem of my collection, but I have let out a few sarcastic chuckles since I heard the news...

I also have a 1997 Andy Pettitte jersey (Steiner) and a photomatched 2004 Sheffield helmet (Steiner). The news on Pettitte stung, as he is one of the true home-grown Yankees that I always loved.

I'm going to keep these items for now, because I love them. All three show tremendous wear and they're from historically significant players. Whether or not they go into the HOF is another matter...

JUAN GONZALEZ....Yes, he was mentioned in the Mitchell Report

However, I was lucky enough to sell my entire Juan Gonzalez collection back when he first started getting injured all the time. I saw this up and coming young kid....Alex Rodriguez...so I got rid of my Juan Gonzalez collection and started to collect Alex Rodriquez.

Although back then, I did hear about Juan possibly using steriods, but that didn't stop me from continuing to collect his stuff.

I find this odd however. Although I still have a few autographed Juan Gonzalez pieces left, I found a game used minor league signed ball on ebay yesterday, with a buy it now for $15, and bought it.

What made me buy it? Guess something things are still in our blood!

I saw someone in this forum, who is married, at a restaurant with another woman yesterday. Of course because what I saw means he must be cheater on his wife. Yeah, right. Give me a break.

I also have two Todd Pratt and Matt Franco bats (one of which is his 2000 WS game bat).

My biggest lost is my Palmeiro 477th Home run Old Hickory bat.

Thankfully I sold my Bonds, Sammy Sosa and Jose Canseco stuff several years ago!

Nick you triggered my memory, I do have two Nails bats (one 86 WS) but you know what whoever didn't think Nails was on Roids after he came to spring training in 89 looking like Lou Ferrigno must be taking illegal substance too!

As far as hits I only consider the Palmeiro bat a loss.

I agree with you. My Hundley bats cost me very little, and my Dykstra bat is a key part of my 86 Mets collection... again, not an overly pricy item (thankfully I collect a team whose items are still available at affordable prices).

I also agree with commando regarding the Dykstra WS jersey -- Good point, it is indeed a significant piece and also was worn at a time that steroids had not yet entered the picture.
