I figured it was some tabloid fake, and they wouldn't find anything. Amazing.

Humm, Maybe the item that was recovered was actually meant to be recovered? Perhaps, this recovery was just a smokescreen and the real item that was meant to jinx the Yankees is still safely hidden inside the stadium?

The construction worker who did this obviously wanted to join the "Red Sox idiots".

Guy should be hit with a hard lawsuit, him doing this had to of broken a law or two. And did anyone see that sportscenter called him and did a phone interview about the whole mess.

Exactly what law are you referring to? ......... Oh, I forgot about that old statute about attempting to create a "Baseball Curse". You Yankee guys are getting a little deep with the conspiracy theories, don't you think?

I'm sure this could be a type of vandalism.

I saw this on the News last night, I think it`s Funny. I`m out west & I get the Yankees/Boston game on Cable tonight. Not sure which stadium, But I`m gonna watch it. I`m not a Yankee fan but it`s gotta piss ya off to see a sell out like that.

An act of terrorism against the Evil Empire

I have to agree with you Yanks12025, it's should be considered some sort of vandalism charge here and be taken seriously. The new Yankee stadium should carry over all the pride and tradition from the old Yankee Stadium and by planting this jersey it tarnished the purity of it all.

No doubt the construction company isn't happy with what their employee did. A company doesn't want to offend the people who have hired them. Yankee or Red Sox fan, this isn't the way a construction company drums up future business.
