I dontow about the all star game, but they were wearing the black band in the game after Murcer passed away.

I think that photo was taken last year when they unvealed the all-star logo, because last year they wore the black arm band for Cory Lidle.

The Yankees All Star members wore the Bobby Murcer memorial armband for the 2008 All Star Game. I hope this Jeter photo loads okay (I've never tried to do one from Getty). If not, you can search on Getty Images and see the armband from the All Star Game.

You absolutely correct Yanks12025. The dead giveaway is the absence of the All Star patch and Yankee Stadium final year patch on the jerseys. Additionally Matsui is injured and most likely was not present for any photo ops this year.
