The Nationals sent me an invitation to set up a booth there which will be a great opportunity to display Nationals items that are game used as well as memorabilia.Leave a comment:

Fair enough....funny you bring up Wily Mo, so much potential will always follow him, never any results.
Are Nats fans about done with old Leatherpants Bowden or is he accepted there?Leave a comment:

Re: Nats Fan Fest
I'm not understanding Vintage' comments about Dunn either. 40 bombs over like 5 years running, nice ob%. It's like Kingman, he could drive in 100 plus and 30 bombs but hit .230 and have alot of K's and Mets fans just couldn't do it. Maybe there is something I'm missing about Dunn, but he seems like a good guy. Not a superstar, but I'd almost rather have him on an AL team to tell you the truth, and I'd rather see him go where he can win, and he won't win in WA.Leave a comment:

Re: Nats Fan Fest
What you dont understand about Nats fans, is that there are certain players that we like and relate to, despite their on the field shortcomings....some players just dont, or wouldnt feel like "ours".
Zim, Milledge, Belliard, etc - Good
Wily Mo Pena, Adam Dunn, etc - BadLeave a comment:

Re: Nats Fan Fest
If Dunn is a player that "stinks".... you must not be able to tolerate any of the current players on that might Nats teamGuess Lastings and Zims 14 bombs and .330 OBB gets people more excited.
Will be very interesting to see where he ends up.Leave a comment:

I think the chances are good - we've always been known as a dumping ground for ex-Reds players who stink......Leave a comment:

I know it won't happen, but the Reds still have a hole in LF. I think the relationship was torn apart even before the trade so you count the Reds out, but I wish he was still on the team.
I thought the Nats had enough OF's even by Ol' Leatherpants standards? If I had to guess I think Dunn goes to a team that has a chance to compete. Would not mind seeing Dunner hit balls into the Cove with San Fran.Leave a comment:

Re: Nats Fan Fest
Vintage - I see you are a Nats fan. How strong is the probability of Dunn signing with you guys? I see several teams interested but I always thought his final destination would be Washington. They have been interested in him for some time...
