    Dave,
An entire thread has been deleted that called out Chakes89. That is why his name is being brought up. However, I think everyone needs to stop the drama and let Les, Chris, and people of higher authority figure it out before any more finger pointing goes on. Once the answers come out, then everyone can go nuts. It, obviously, is a bad incident that happened to Les. However, she even states that it may be another person in a different thread. So, let's stop this before it ruins someone who may have nothing to do with this situation. Lets get back to discussing game used equipment...we're all much better at that!!!

    Mike

Safe to say, the I.P. address of the ofensive email(s) is probably the same as chakes89's local network. Draw your own conclusions here.

Les - I think the Moderators have a way to check IP addresses of anyone posting on the site so you should be able to determine if the IP sent to you matches anyone on the site!

Have you forwarded the IP address to the Mods?

I totally agree with the other posters that the line was crossed. Totally chicken sh*t, and I have a daughter too!!!!

Me too, I'm a father of a son and daughter.

I know IP addresses can eventually be honed right in on. It may take some time, but the offender will stand out eventually like a sore thumb. Hiding won't work. Just a matter of time.

Not a good idea, picking on a girl.
They generally have fathers........very angry fathers who like to hurt people that mess with their daughters.

    I know.....I'm one of them.

Disgusted after reading this. Many will have disagreements with each other. Many will not like other individuals personalities or views on things.
But to act out and conduct themselves in this matter, is hateful.

I'm sorry you had to experience this.

    Regards, Tony

You can still determine the location of the email from the IP addresses. The IP addresses are set by the Internet provider and there are clearly at least two. Each Internet provider will set it's own unique IP address. There is no need to "mask" an IP address. If they came from the same computer, your forum computer science guy should be able to find the region that they came from.

There is a three hour difference. It is three hours later in Ohio than it is in Seattle or Portland.
