Markise, I have access to all these stars, Which player are you looking for?
I remember this thread that Joel started a while ago. I got a call from my MLB guy with an inventory list and there are still a bunch of these framed placement stars that are unsold from Yankee Stadium and the prices seem more reasonable than what Anthony quoted me before. If you deal with Highland Mint, you should call your rep.
Alex Rodriguez Bill Mazeroski Robin Yount Ryan Braun Juan Marichal Billy Williams Don Sutton Tony Perez Geovany Soto Dick Williams Lee MacPhail Jr. Bob Feller Al Kaline Fergie Jenkins Eddie Murray Matt Holliday Willie McCovey Rollie Fingers Phil Niekro Earl Weaver Ben Sheets Reggie Jackson Jim Palmer Terry Francona Orlando Cepeda Hanley Ramirez Ralph Kiner Bruce Sutter Robin Roberts Cliff Lee Gaylord Perry Wade Boggs Tommy Lasorda Kosuke Fukudome Manny Ramirez Milton Bradley
I actually just got an email from Anthony in regards to these, He updated the prices decently. I guess the Mint wants to move these.
NewYork2 - Maybe he just saw this Post or just coincidental timing but $1100+ with shipping on a cardboard sign seemed like an expensive proposition when Anthony sent me the original list.
Now the same ones at $600 at least are getting closer to reality.
Here was the original list:
Arod 950 Mazeroski 599. Braun 1095. Bob Gibson SOLD Tony Perez 850. Geovanny Soto 1095. Fergie Jenkins 599. Goose Gossage 599. Robin Yount 850. Phil Niekro 850. Rod Carew 850. Rollie Fingers 599. Dustin Pedroia 1095. Orlando Cepeda 599. Bruce Sutter 599. Gaylord Perry 599. Frank Robinson 850. Chipper Jones SOLD Juan Marichal 599. Lou Brock SOLD Dennis Eckersley 599. Dick Williams 599. Terry Francona SOLD Hank Aaron SOLD Eddie Murray 599. Tony Gwynn 850. Ernie Banks SOLD Derek Jeter SOLD Whitey Ford SOLD Ozzie Smith SOLD Kevin Youkilis 1095. Mike Schmidt SOLD Ralph Kiner 599 Robin Roberts 599. Wade Boggs 850. Fukodome 1095. Manny 1095. Berra SOLD Billy williams 850. Winfield 1095. Mccovey 1095. Ripken Jr 1095. Brooks Robinson 850 Molitor 850. Tommy Lasorda 850
Are they only made of cardboard? Anyway he basically said that all leftovers were $650 with shipping now so that seems about right on with what your saying. I think they are cool pieces. You guys think I should pick one up?
I just inquired about them, but it seems like a lot of money for something like that. yes, it's unique and I could see a couple hundred maybe, but for that price you could pick up a game used item from some of those players...

They do look great framed up but still I think I would rather spend $800 on a Ryan Braun gamer bat then $700 on a star.
