    Credibility Issues in Hobby

    Out of the the big three sections of the hobby -- Card Collecting, Autograph , and Game Used Equipment.

    What section of our hobby has the biggest credibility issue?
    What section of our hobby does the dealers do their best job to keep it clean?
    What section of our hobby does the authenticators do their best job to keep it clean?
    What sections has the most problems with authentic items now?
    What section of the hobby has the best job of getting their problems cleaned up.

                      Agreed. GU fakes is so rapant now. It's unbelievable all the crap that's out there on Ebay, auction houses, private sales, etc.

                          What's even more unbelievable is the schmucks that are paid top dollar to authenticate these fakes. We all know who they are, so I don't need to go into detail.

                          They authenticate garbage. Tarnish their names & the names of the auction houses/merchants that sell their crap. They go unpunished for authenticating obvious bogus items. And make top dollar while on their joy ride.

                          The GU market is getting a little better, but it has a long way to go. Especially in the authentication department!
