Adrian Gonzalez is my favorite. I do keep an eye on guys from Alabama, like Jake Peavy, Colby Rasmus, and guys who played for Auburn Univ. Tim Hudson and Gabe Gross, who was our starting Quarterback for a year
James Loney...Matt Kemp...Andre Ethier...Russell Martin...Rafael Furcal.....4 yound exciting players and a gun....
Evan Longoria....Carl Crawford....graceful hitter, and raw speed
Jay Bruce....Joey Votto.....big hitters
Troy Tulowitzki.......no one in the game crushes the ball like this dude (not even Pujols)
Ryan Braun....a local boy who can flat out rake.....Prince Fielder...got to love his spirit for the game, and his power.....Jason Kendall....anyone who can successfully return from a horrific injury he suffered years ago (ankle) is alright in my book.....
Ryan Howard, Shane Victorino.....and Jayson Werth......not sure why the Dodgers let him get away, but oh well....
Pablo Sandoval
Chipper Jones
Ken Griffey Jr.
Adam Dunn, Ryan Zimmerman......with special mention to Elijah Dukes.....the man knows how to take a ribbing and keep on kicking
Finally, a few more closet Thome fans come out. A year ago nobody would admit it. Glad to see you come around.
I wouldnt say I am a closet Thome fan... and I admitted it freely a year agoi. I may not flaunt it often, but I've been around since his Indians days. While my Royals have stunk, I adopted the Indians in 1994 with Manny + Thome breaking out. I'm still claiming Berkman, though thats not real popular right now. And I said Butler last year and early this year, when almost everyone else was ripping him up and down.
Anyhow, I am glad to be here and know that I am not alone.
