Anyone know how to change your picture next to your GUU name?

I uploaded a new picture, under my account, but the old one still shows up.

quick links >user control panel > side bar edit option> edit avatar.

check the radiobutton "Do not use an avatar"

save changes.

then check radiobutton "Used custom avatar"

click the browse button and select photo from my computer

save changes

Anyone who is logged in doesn't see avatars. At least I don't.

Why? No clue. Seems silly to me.

i know you cannot see photos that members post unless you are logged in. so maybe its a group setting that only members (ie those logged in) can see photos, which include avatars.

i know you cannot see photos that members post unless you are logged in. so maybe its a group setting that only members (ie those logged in) can see photos, which include avatars.

I found it. It is in your options. My "Show Avatars" box was not checked.

Hmm.....been here for two years and now I figured it out. I alway wondered what that point of avatars was if you couldn't see them when you were logged in.

My avatar is not showing up in my posts. It shows it in My Account, but I don't see any "quick links/user control panel" or "Show Avatars box" in my edit profile to fix the problem. Anyone else have this problem?

1)click edit options on the Quick Links dropdown.
2) Scroll down to Thread Display Options
3) Check Show Avatars checkbox
4) Click Save Changes button at the bottom.
