    Peter Gammons to switch networks

Surprised to read that Gammons will flee ESPN for the MLB Network.

ESPN stood by him through his illness and kept him employed as he recovered.

Gammons loves baseball so moving to a baseball only network make sense.

In addition, Gammons will become an analyst and reporter for NESN, the regional sports network in New England affiliated with the owners of the Boston Red Sox.
Always nice to see Peter on NESN

Shouldn't that read "Gammons loves THE RED SOX"? NESN sounds like just his cup of tea...

I like Gammons, but when you talk about East Coast bias among reporters, I can't think of anyone with more bias towards one club than Gammons has for the Sox.
