Help Riddell Revolution Helmet ?

I have been seeing Steelers Riddell Revolution retail helmets that have what looks like a "dimple" above the upper chin strap snap on both sides. The "dimple" looks like a small drill indent that does not go all the way through the shell. Is this normal?

I have an early Colts Revolution retail helmet and it does not have this.

Any input would be great. Thanks in advance..

As far as I can tell that is fairly normal. I have purchased several new revolution helmets and some had the dimple and others did not. I am not sure what it is attributed to, but it shouldn't be an issue.

lakeerie92- Thanks for your reply. I heard that Riddell isn't making the Revolution anymore. Trying to get any info from Riddell is useless. Their customer service is lacking in my recent experience. Still waiting on a reply.
