Lots of people may be going for the first time. So here are my tips for maximizing your experience.
1. Get there way early. I went to one at 6 in the morning and there were fans already lined up for the 10 am opening.
2. You get a free autograph (just 1) but you do not know what or who you will get. You can wait in line two hours for a scrub. The team approach works best, family members fanned out in different lines. Also, the high-profile players like Buster Posey spend their time in kid's only lines--so put on those jammies, rent a kid, or get your kids to help you.
