Just got back from fanfest and got some nice jerseys and helmets. The black helmets they were selling were also MLB auth and those helmets are cool anyways. Sammy drope me a line when you get a chance

I ended up going this year as well (after missing last year) and I was pretty pleasantly surprised with the selection. They had the bigger name players as well as a load of the commons. Had many helmets for sale (including some of the new black ones, which I thought were pretty cool). As with most fanfests, there was a mad dash to the tent, which was a bit interesting. But I was lucky enough to leg it out pretty quickly (One of the advantages to youth and be at the front of the line. On a side note, I understand that one of the older guys fell in the sprint, if he is a member here or someone knows who he is, I would like to make sure he wasn't seriously injured.

i was told that no throwback stuff was available. what has the team done with that stuff? i have been looking for years for A's tbtc items and nothing. do they hoard them or sell to someone or what?
i called the A's in 06 or 07 asking about a helmet as soon as the series was over and the guy told me sure he would sell me one. i called him back about and he never replied back. that was 4-5 years ago. jagoff.

I know for a fact that at least one set of throwbacks (1980's green jerseys) that the A's wore was actually auctioned off by the Rays-who were the home team that day.
Too bad,cause I'd pay big money to get Giambi's Oakland Oaks throwback from '09...
