My friend and I were thinking of taking a trip down there to see a Louisville Bats game and tour the museum. how close are the two to each other?

If I remember correctly the factory is about 15 blocks from the field.

Re: My Louisville Slugger Museum Visit Today

Last Friday I finally made it to Louisville Slugger Factory & Museum. It was a fantastic time, I would reccomend it to anyone. We (my brother & nephew) toured the factory, did the batting cages, explored the museum, bought souveniers & just had a great day. Inside & outside, it was very nicely decorated. I hope to load some photos up later in the week & I'll post some of those. I was just in awe of the history of the Louisville Slugger bats!! Then, a highlite at the end of the day was meeting Brian & getting a tour around some of the areas we didn't see earlier!! Thank you Brian for taking the time & showing us around & answering our questions. You put the exclamation mark on a perfect day!!! I so appreciated that.

Re: My Louisville Slugger Museum Visit Today

We took some swings in the batting cages, you could pick from a list of pro bats to use...I picked a Jeter & this is the barrell of it..thought it was cool. Final two photos are of myself (old man on left) & Brian Hillerich standing in front of the names of all the 'signed' players signatures and a closeup of what they look like. Thanks again Brian!!
