Baseball's Joe Frazier deat at age 88
Frazier is remembered my most fans as the manager of the New York Mets between Yogi Berra's stint and Joe Torre's tenure. He was 86-76 with the 1976 Mets, but was shown the door in 1977 in favor of Torre after a 15-30 start.
Frazier also played in the Show, beginning with 9 games for Cleveland in 1947, then spending 1954-55 with St. Louis, and splitting 1956 between the Cardinals, Cincinnati and Baltimore.
