Thanks for that. I was never even an Expos fan, and I have to confess to tearing up a little. I can't imagine what it must be like to have your hometown team just up and go away; it must feel like your guts are being torn out.

Inevitably, I guess, you get some people saying, "Well, if the city had supported them...", or, "If there had been more fans in the seats...", etc, but all of that means nada to the loyal, hardcore fan who was in the seats, and who did support the team, year after year, in the good and bad times. Real world business realities suck.

I never was much of a baseball fan, but I used to watch the Expos occasionally back in the early 80s on CBC. Duke Snider did the color...or colour, if I recall,
