I loved his "Snap into a Slim Jim" commercials, as well as his role in the Spider-Man movie, which I thought he played the role of "Bonesaw" (what an awesome name) to a tee!

That is in fact The Macho Man. It was taken at his wedding about a year ago. Time has not been too good to him but that is the toll pro wrestling taken on its members

And abuse of prescription pain killers a career of 20 - 30 years being on the road 300 nights per year, sure it is scripted but the abuse these guys take with their high flying moves and years of travel, injuries, etc. and then the pain killers and as mentioned roids and HGH etc. that is the end result if they even make it to 58 which as mentioned few seem to ever do.

              - Had a real life disagreement with Honky Tonk man, Honky refused to lose to IC title to him. To make up for not getting him the belt, the WWF had Randy win at Wrestlemania IV. DiBiase was supposed to win it, and to make it up to him, they created the million dollar belt

I believe that following Summerslam, the Ultimate Warrior beat the Honky Tonk Man for the Intercontental Belt in 30 seconds. I don't remember Honky Tonk doing much in the WWF after this. Perhaps the disagreement with Savage, along with all the trouble he put McMahon through to rework Wrestlemania IV, ruined Honky Tonk's career.

It seems like yesterday I went to see Randy Savage at the Cow Palace in 1993. He jobbed out to the Giant Gonzalez, who lasted in the WWF for less than 2 years if I recall correctly.

Vince McMahon - Don't cross the boss!

In addition to trying his hand at Baseball, Endorsements, and Acting, Randy Savage also cut a couple of rap albums. He recorded a song titled, "Be a Man", where he took Hulk Hogan to task.

Did you guys know that when Miss Elizabeth passed away, she was Lex Luger's fiance? When the police searched his house after the incident, they found hundreds of bottles of steroids in his possession.

Funny, but to many of them who live the life it must be worth it.

"For over a thousand years Roman conquerors returning from the wars enjoyed the honor of triumph, a tumultuous parade. In the procession came trumpeteers, musicians and strange animals from conquered territories, together with carts laden with treasure and captured armaments. The conquerors rode in a triumphal chariot, the dazed prisoners walking in chains before him. Sometimes his children robed in white stood with him in the chariot or rode the trace horses. A slave stood behind the conqueror holding a golden crown and whispering in his ear a warning: that all glory is fleeting."

Bill Simmons was already hooked on wrestling when Macho Man pulled him in even deeper.

Bill Simmons may write long articles, but he may also be the best in the business today.

I saw him once up close and person in the 80's. Say what you want about Wrestling but Randy had a great voice and personality for the WWF and was highly entertaining. His OOOHHHH YEAH catchphrase is classic.

For full disclosure, Miss Elizabeth was the first woman I ever thought was beautiful. Even to this day, I think she is epically gorgeous. The fact she was his woman made me verrry envious of the Macho Man.
