i could have my ex wife manage a ball club....if you have a lead in the seventh, bring in the 8th inning man, if lead continues bring in the closer for the 9th....the hard part is getting 25 guys to put out for you...you dont need experience to find the cancers and trade them...Matheny was a clutch ball player with great passion and desire, he should do well...

If him or Robin Ventura win quickly, it will be the start of a new trend in baseball - Hiring guys who were pouplar with the fans with no expirence but lots of baseball smarts.
