Houston Antoine, a member of the All-AFL team and his wife, Evelyn, died on consecutive days. Antoine died on Monday at age 72 due to heart failure. His wife passed today from lung cancer.
Antoine was drafted by the Houston Oilers in 1961, but was dealt to the Boston Patriots before appearing in a game for the Oilers. He was a great for the Pats through 1971, before finishing his career in the newly-merged NFL with the Eagles in 1972.
