Switching to Linear oldest first

Why is it no longer to view threads with the oldest post first instead of having the newest post first?

I know this isn't sports related but I couldn't find a better place to put it.

scroll down to Thread Display Options
for Thread Display Mode select "Linear Oldest First" from dropdown list.
scroll down and click "Save Changes" button.

When I peruse GUU, I get oldest post first until I enter a post on any thread...then it switches to newest post first.

Hmm...that's interesting. Did you configure it that was in your user control panel? I just get oldest post first, and I'm happy that way.

The default setting for not logged in guests is oldest first.

For logged in users, the default is newest first.

To make it always oldest first, change the setting as described in the above/below post.
