Marlins New Park – What were they thinking?

I got home turned on ESPN today expecting to see a beautiful brand new ballpark. To my surprise I saw by far the ugliest of the new ballpark. Well, let me take that back the ugliest of the other 29 teams. Who decided to go with lime green walls throughout the field and what is that ugly homerun indicator thing in left center. Talk about cheesy. That thing in left center reminds me of those cheap fake fish tanks with the fake fish that you buy at the $1.00 store. The whole thing looks like it came from the 1970’s.

If I was a betting man I bet you that the ballpark will be remodeled within 5 years along with that rainbow M logo.

I was thinking the same thing... I expected bright...after all they have a rainbow-like logo now, wear bright orange, and have come from a park that is decked out in orange and teal... but flourescent green??? It didn't make much sense to me either...
