Thanks to all who posted. Saw the Getty’s image a while back. I guess you can say that it is an actual “photo match” without using all the arrows and circles. This acquisition has taken over a decade to complete. I should say ten years of pestering. A friend of mine has had it in his collection for that time. Thanks Bill! The foremost Tony Gwynn collector on the planet!

Yes, you decided to post an article which is less than flattering for an individual who, confessed himself, to making many stupid mistakes. I prefer to remember Ken Caminiti from this article. The “Snickers” game will always be remembered by Padres fans (Not naive enough to believe he had food poisoning though).

One thing I will add is that with all his faults and personal demons, Ken Caminiti was the first to state he used steroids and that he would do it again. No Book. Waving a finger in front of Congress. No blaming it on a relative. Straight up. He did it and would do it again.

I read both articles and enjoyed them. There are many different facets to a lot of ballplayers, and it's good to be able to read all perspectives, flattering or not. Thanks to all for the links.
