I think its an amazing pull. I had the honor of watching him during spring training a few years ago in japan. Out there, he's about as popular as it gets. I'm sure collectors in Japan will be highly interested in this card if it ends up on Ebay.

Get whatever you can out of it and chances are - if you get lucky enough, more than one collectors from his native land would want to own this so-called "one of whatever"

Like others have said, Congratulations, and anyone who would pay four (or even three) figures for a piece of cardboard signed by a current player, simply because a card company says, "Hey! We only made five of them!" is someone with far more expendable income than brains.

That's the very reason why I am going to sell it, I just got lucky and plan to add a key item or two to my game used collection.

Really 5k for that, I think that's crazy. You can buy hall of fame players game used jerseys or bats.

I think that's why most of us here gave up serious card collecting a while back. I still collect cheap oddball sets from the 1980s, but that's about it.

It's difficult to serve two masters unless you're rich!

So on my lunch break I drove over to my local card shop downtown here in sacramento HR sports cards and bought a single box of 2012 Bowman baseball. Getting to the last pack I pulled this and think I might have pulled a muscle while doing so. Yes the #1 of 5 YU DARVISH RED REFRACTOR ON CARD AUTO and yes I sent it off to beckett for grading. And yes it will be up for sale soon. I have pulled some pretty nice cards in my life but none could even come close to the value of this one.
