Ex-OF Hershberger dies

Mike Hershberger, an 11-year outfielder with three American League teams, died July 1 at age 72.

Hershberger played for the White Sox from 1961-64 and again in 1971, with the time in between spent with the Kansas City/Oakland Athletics (1965-69) and the Milwaukee Brewers (1970).
