Young Titans hopeful takes his own life

O.J. Murdock, a Titans WR who had yet to play in a regular season game, was found dead Monday morning, the result of self-inflicted gunshot wounds. He was 25.

Murdock was signed as an undrafted free agent by Tennessee before the 2011 season, but spent the year on injured reserve due to an Achillies injury.

How tragic. It's hard not to feel for the guy.

As you can imagine, this was the main topic of discussion yesterday at camp and around town. Really sad, no matter who it is, but him being a pro football player of course puts him in the limelight.

Everyone's in shock - the players were as upbeat as they could be but it's hard not to think this was on their minds pretty heavily yesterday...
