Do players uses only bats specially marked for world series? Or can/do they use bats from the regular season during world series also?

      Re: World Series Bats

They can use any bat they want. Probably the majority dont use world series bats, as Louisville Slugger is the only company that has rights to put that on the bats, although other companies have in the past.

        Re: World Series Bats

Only a few of the World Series bats are manufactured for each player (I think it is 2)and I suspect a lot of the players keep them. A few years back I purchased a 1961 World Series bat that belonged to former Yankee John Blanchard. A year or so later one of his regular season bats went of sale that he had autographed as his 1961 World Series game bat. I purchased that one as well. I believe both bats (Louisville Sluggers) are authentic. I suspect if you look you will see pictures or video of players using bats that are not Louisville Sluggers which would not be World Series bats as I believe only LVS makes the Series bats.

            Re: World Series Bats

Rawlings Adirondack used to stamp "World Series" on bats up till around the early ninties (93) and then reverted to stamping the knob end of bats with WS or W/S and YY only to indicate bats made for the World Series.
