Dave, what took so long to report this? I knew he passed two weeks ago but I was waiting for you to catch up to the news. Do you wait to receive Baseball Digest in the mail still to get your death notices?

By the way, is Baseball Digest still in business? That book used to be the bible to get in the mail. Now we have this keyboard and screen so we don't need a magazine to tell us what's up in the world.

I get my obits from 2 sources if they aren't in the general news reports: Baseball Almanac and Baseball Reference (both websites). Neither had it posted until Baseball Almanac made reference to it the day I made the post.

But my main question is do they still publish Baseball Digest?

I'm not sure...I rarely read magazines or newspapers anymore.

Agreed, Joel...it was a favorite of mine in my youth, as well.
