Re: Giambi's still got it...move over,Hank..
I don't agree with this post title at all, as he clearly is on his last leg for the past couple years. But, I do appreciate whenever guy plays as long as he can. I don't get why guys playing past their prime upsets some fans, retirement is forever and 100 years from now your statistics will be a casual fan's snapshot at your 10 or 20 year body of work that the player will be most widely known for in their lifetime. Play as logn as you can get a contract.
Also, I hope Jason does get his 2,000th hit soon, he is currently 6 hits shy as of 8.7.13Comment

G may be a shell of his former self but he can still do it better than some of the kids playing these days. Not sure 500HR's is really attainable for the big guy but I've been a fan of his from day one. Truly one of the good guys to play the game steroids or not he always made time for the fans.Comment

It's sad that Hank has to move over for Giambi. It's never a good day for baseball when a drug-cheating player passes a clean player on a career list. While we're on the subject, Frank Thomas deserved to be 2000 AL MVP.Comment
