So long story short, I purchased an inscribed auto'd Trout bat on MLB Auctions on 4/26. This Friday I get an email saying the item is out of stock and would I want a replacement or a refund. Just wondering if anyone else has had this happened and what you would do if it did. MLB is offering another bat but I really wanted this particular bat. It also irks me that it took a week to email me that it was out of stock. Thoughts?

Get a refund and move on. You can always get another one of his later on. If it was a game used bat that had specifics, then yeah that would be a little annoying. -

I have a similar thing happen with a 2013 WBC game-used ball that I won they took the payment straight away as they do then to find out a few days later I would be offered a refund as item couldn't be found wasn't offered a different ball just given a full refund backComment
