The documentaries "Fastball" and "Knuckleball" are on Netflix and both are good.

The Best That Never Was doc was a good one. All of the 30/30's I have watched have been good and I especially enjoyed these ones: Ben Wilson (Benji), Len Bias, Phi Slama Jama, and the 1970's NY Knicks.

Most of the 30/30 are really good (as long as you like the subject matter) and I also liked the ones about the Dream Team and the Fab 5 that I believe were both on NBA network.

Thanks guys. I am going to check these out. Please keep them coming.

I am also in the process of watching a few more and will post some additional thoughts after watching them.

I have watched the MLB Network's 1-hour long documentary on the history of the Montreal Expos a couple of times, and have thoroughly enjoyed it.
It's called "The Colorful Montreal Expos"

    Knuckleball!

Enjoyed watching this one because it featured then Met R.A. Dickey.

    Sports Documentaries

I have recently been watching a number of sports documentaries (including some from the ESPN 30/30 series) and have thoroughly enjoyed a number of them including:

    Fantastic Lies
    The Best That Never Was
Small Potatoes: Who Killed The USFL?
    Brian and The Boz
    I Hate Christian Laettner
    Little Big Men
The Legend of Jimmy The Greek
    The Battered Bastards of Baseball

Interestingly, after watching 'The Best That Never Was,' I realized I was connected on LinkedIn with Marcus Dupree.
I sent Mr. Dupree a message letting him know I enjoyed watching the documentary about him.
Honestly, I wasn't really expecting to hear anything back for a while, if at all.
Ironically, he messaged me back within about two minutes and we had a very pleasant conversation through LinkedIn.

Are there any documentaries anyone else would recommend?
