I checked a Street & Smith's spring roster and #34 for KC in 1964 was made for pitcher Bill Landis. He pitched in 1 game for the A's in 1963, but didn't make the team in '64. He was relegated to the minors until 1967, when he hurled in 18 games for the Impossible Dream Red Sox, pitching for Boston through 1969.
