The ace of the Cubs pitching staff, Zambrano is considered a front runner for the 2007 National League Cy Young Award. This is a two-year style jersey, worn for the last time in 2006. This jersey is very soft from multiple launderings, and exhibits light evidence of game use. Most importantly, this blue alternate style jersey is the only style worn by Zambrano on pitching days. This jersey is tagged in the collar with a “38 54 06 S3” strip tag, indicative of El Toro’s uniform number, his size, the year, and the jersey set number. This jersey also has the interior “0062” pro-coded wash tag, which is typically found only on jerseys designated for professional use.
