As many of you know, I'm a very passionate bat collector. Recently, I've come into a situation in which it is likely in my best interest to exit the hobby.
I've met a great many people through bats, but in my quest to achieve a great collection of "keepers" I came to ignore the one keeper that I just can't do without, my wife.
I'm selling absolutely everything that I own that is sports related. Here is a partial list, but I hope to get my website updated in the next few days to reflect my desertion of a great hobby.
1921-30 H&B Harry Heilmann
1921-30 H&B George Kelly
1921-20 H&B Frankie Frisch
1934-43 H&B Bob Doerr
1950-60 H&B Ralph Kiner G69L (1950-51)
1950-60 H&B Enos Slaughter M110 (1955)
1961-64 H&B Carl Yastrzemski W166 (1964)
1961-64 H&B Billy Williams S2 - (PSA LOA)

1965-68 H&B Ernie Banks S2 (1967-68) - Auto

Others:
1914-19 D&M Johnny Evers Hand-Turned Professional Model Bat - (Evers bat has not been authenticated, but has the characteristics of a pro model including hand-turned knob & professional grain. Bat is similar in length to Evers' H&B index length and is very close in length and weight to a MEARS graded A10 bat which was sidewritten and vault marked). PDF file with information regarding this bat is available and can be sent upon request.
1936-37 H&B Phil Weintraub
1944-45 H&B Babe Herman H43
1950-51 H&B Birdie Tebbetts R46
1977-79 H&B Roy White R143
1986 Rawlings Willie Randolph 259B
I will try to update my website as soon as possible. I wish I could keep everything, but it is time for me to bow out.
Thank you all for your interest and support. Maybe someday I'll return.
Please send requests for prices and pictures to tim@hofbats.com. Please DO NOT reply to this thread as I won't be checking the forum in the near future, but will reply as quickly as possible to all emails and will send photos as quickly as I can.
