I have for sale a bat used by former MLB player Luis Lopez. Lopez used this bat while playing in the Atlantic League, for the Somerset Patriots. Lopez played for the Cleveland Indians and Los Angeles Dodgers.
The bat itself is a Pro Stock, Model P72 by Louisville. Has X2 on the knob and has a nice bold black signature. The bat is nicely taped with dirt still on the tape and pine tar on the bat, however there is a handle crack that runs partially through the tape. There appears to be no pieces missing. I purchased this back in 2000 or 2001 in the Patriots gift shop before a game.
I searched eBay to compare signatures for Lopez as the autograph seems weird to me as it looks like Lopez signed LOUI and not LUIS Lopez. However this was purchased the way it was from the gift shop. If anyone has an example of a Lopez autograph they can e-mail me, I would appreciate it...
Since I have no idea if this even has any value, I will let this one be open to the best offer...Make an offer and it will be yours... (as long as it is a respectable offer)
