This style was worn by the Rangers for two years only, in 1982 and 1983. The jersey shows good, consistent game wear. There is noticeable rubbing across the belt-line and a couple of snags in the area of the belt-line. Wash wear is present on the logo and numbers.
Two tags have been removed from the neck area. One was cut from the neck piping on the inside back of the jersey, and a second tag has been removed from right below the first one (a line parallel to the piping, about 3/4 inch below the piping can still be seen).
On a scale of 1 (much fading) to 10 (no fading) for the colors, I would give the jersey an 8. Tanana signed the top of the numeral 2 many years ago, and the autograph is very faded (maybe a 4 out of 10).
I picked this jersey up from a Rangers collector several years ago, and he had several other BP/spring training jerseys of other players. The Bucky Dent photo is just to confirm the style -- this is for a Frank Tanana jersey. I am asking $125.00 and $5.00 for insured Priority Mail delivery.
Thanks! -- Anthony
