30 Bobby Shantz, Philadelphia A's flannel. Jersey is a three-year style with A's on front either was used in 1952, Shantz' AL MVP season, or 1953. (1951 style had a patch on sleeve). Acquired by owner several years ago from long-time Philadelphia memorabilia collector John Turek of Lansdale, Pa. Jersey made by Pearson, which has patch in collar. Also includes a 30-38 patch, showing Shantz' number and jersey size. No. 30 on back. $5K.
