Baltimore Colts 1973 Game Worn Used Jersey

Offered is a very unusual game worn vintage Baltimore Colts jersey. The jersey was originally issued to Stan Cherry who played but 3 games for the Colts in 1973. The jersey then sat around in the Colts equipment room until on or about 1981 when it was re-issued to Mike Woods. When the jersey was re-issued to Mike Woods’ the Colts simply placed a Woods nameplate over the Cherry NOB. When the jersey is inspected from the inside, “Cherry” can clearly be seen.

The jersey is complete with a MEARS LOO who graded the jersey a 6.5. MEARS placed the following comments on their LOO: In photo/style match, Woods’ jersey is visibly slightly different from most of his teammates’. Originally issued in 1973 to Stan Cherry who played in 3 games – “Cherry” is visible underneath nameplate. Eddie Leonard Sporting Goods was a local distributor for both Spanjian and Sand Knit. Jersey style photo matched – 1981 Colts team photo.

The jersey was made by Spanjan and is a size XXXL. The Spanjan label is loose but still firmly attached to the jersey. All of the numbers are heat-pressed onto the jersey. The NOB has individual letters heat-pressed onto a nameplate and the nameplate then sewn onto the jersey. Several team repairs.

$250.00 plus postage. If additional scans are needed, just email me at flaa1a@comcast.net and I’ll get them out ASAP.

Re: Baltimore Colts 1973 Game Worn Used Jersey

This jersey is no longer available but my Baltimore Ravens Duke footballs are. Below are the details:

Offered is one (1) Baltimore Ravens “The Duke” game used football from the 2006 season when the Ravens won the AFC North by 5 games. They lost to the Colts in the AFC Championship game.

This football can be time-lined to last season because it is a Paul Tagliabue Duke. I believe these footballs are going to be highly collectible because it was the first year “The Duke” was re-used in all NFL games and because all of the NFL teams switched over to Goodell footballs in the first week of the regular season.

I am offering just one of these footballs. If there is any interest, the buyer will choose which football they want. Both footballs have “RAVENS” laser-printed on the football and show terrific game use. The football on the bottom of the scan has “K” hand-written on one tip end.

I would definitely be interested in trading even up for another Duke from another team. Or, I would sell one (1) football outright for $175.00 OBO plus $5.00 for postage.
