you guys are absolutely classic. there's an entire thread about how your own customers can't even get a hold of you to inquire about their purchases and rather than respond to that thread, you come on solely to sell more stuff.

chris c. and rob s.: both of you guys have stated that sellers need to respond to legit questions. over the past few years, dozens of questions have piled up on this forum about elite. i have yet to see them respond to a single one. the only time elite ever posts is to use this forum to sell more of their wares. how about banning them from the "for sale" section until they finally answer the questions asked of them?

I agree. They shouldn't be able to post more items for sale until they clear up the mess they started with other forum members. Them selling while other disputes are open just leads them to scam even more buyers.

if you've got time to lean, you've got time to clean. here are 10 threads that each required a response from ESM. in each and every case noone from ESM bothered to respond to any issues, questions, or concerns. in the meantime however you did have plenty of time to start tons of threads advertising your sales.

I actually had an email correspondence with Howard about this situation and he informed me this morning (prior to today's Elite post today) that he had spoken to Scot at Elite and felt his concerns were alleviated for the time being.

I believe Howard will be posting a follow-up on the matter sometime soon.

One man has a chat with Scot and concerns are alleviated??Come on.What about all of us that try to talk to Scot about deals that have gone very wrong only to be completely ignored?There is a long list of accusations and misdeeds done by this company that have been brought to the public.With no answers to our many public threads(That Scot reads)about serious questions involving his business practice how can the administrators on this site allow for sale posts?I thought you guys were here to protect the collectors?Or is Elite a sponsor of some kind?Legitimate questions need legitimate answers before they should be allowed to post anything for sale in my opinion.

What exactly are you trying to imply with your quote above? Once again, we have allowed the "for sale" forum as a favor to our members and now you add conspiracy theories that are completely unsubstantiated and irresponsible.

Neither I nor GUU have any business relationship with Elite whatsoever. If there has been some form of impropriety or fraud committed by Elite, or anyone else for that matter, please provide substantiated information for the benefit of the collecting community.

Further, as per the forum rules, we would appreciate it if you would not posts accusatory implications that are completely erroneous. Such comments are irresponsible and contrary to the goal of providing fact-based information on this site.

My point was not to accuse.I got a bit carried away.But the fact is i wote one very long post about my dealings with Elite.One of the links Rudy posted is it.Read that and let me know what proof you need and i would be happy to oblige.And sorry for the accusation i guess my intentions in print are taken differently than the way i was thinking them.I retract that statement.But my original question about how they're allowed to post for sale items with so many bad threads from members of the forum that have gone unaswered has still not been addressed.And there has been no follow up from Howard.

My point in getting involved with this is to protect other collectors.Scot at Elite is a horrible businessman who strung me out for over 6 months on a $750 prepayed Manny Ramirez game used bat which i NEVER recieved.He ignored calls,lied repeatedly,and never answered to these accusations that i publicly made on this forum.He even acknowledged to me in an email that he read the posts.He even went as far as to almost beg me not to write the post and that he would make everything alright...never happened stopped answering emails and calls for months until i finally got Ted at Elite to help me out.I have email proof of everything i claim on this post and my previous posts.ALL accusations have gone unanswered on this forum.And i promise you there are others just like me out there.I have spoken to at least two individuals personally that had very similar issues.

Elite needs to make a post that address these issue's and convince collectors that changes have been made.Namely changes in there horrendous customer service starting with and mainly there President/Owner Scot.

I'm glad you retracted this. I don't "know" any of the guys at GUU, but the one thing I've noticed since I've been here is that Chris is hyper-vigilant about not doing ANYTHING that would create even the suggestion of impropriety. Christ, the guy called me three times to let me know the status of the COA for the item I bought during the GUU auction, despite the fact that I hadn't even gotten around to telling him I hadn't received it.

Also, it's not GUU's job to resolve problems that arise in private transactions between members of this site and third parties. That would be an impossible task. Moreover, from a legal perspective, getting involved in he said-she said disputes in which GUU isn't a party would be, for lack of a better word, retarded.

I have no interest in getting into this with you and explaining why directing this comment to me is completely ridiculous. However, if you're going to play the role of PC Police, you should at least be aware that many people find the word "handicap" to be offensive as well.
