$1,200 or best offer. Yes, the glove was sent to Steiner for Cano to sign. However, Cano didn't sign it because he said it was stolen from his locker while in the minors with the Trenton Thunder.

          Here's what the Letter reads:

          J.T. SPORTS:

Letter of Authenticity - Robinson Cano Professional Model Glove

Manufacturer: Louisville Slugger Model: PRO4C Size: 12 inch Labeling Period: circa 2003-2005

Description: This is a genuine Louisville Slugger TPX PRO Series PRO4C model 12 inch in-fielder’s baseball glove. It was worn by Robinson Cano as a minor league player, circa 2003-2005 while a member of the Trenton Thunder. The glove shows heavy use throughout with noticeable scuffing and wear in the palm and tips of the fingers. ‘R.C. #51’ is embroidered on the pinky finger in black thread. The Dominican Republic flag is embroidered on the thumb. There are two Louisville Slugger L’s on the back of the glove, embroidered in black and white thread, as well as the ‘TPX PRO’ on the wristband.

Provenance: Documentation accompanying the glove confirms that when presented with the glove, Robinson Cano indicated the glove was taken “from his locker” while a member of the Trenton Thunder. This glove was used circa 2003-2004. The model of the glove has also been confirmed by several photographs as being worn by Cano during his Minor League career. The manufacturer has also confirmed that this model glove was made for Robby Cano between 2003 and 2005.

Comments: A thorough examination of the glove reveals that the name “Alexander Leudi” or “Leudi Alexander” has been written on the pinky and thumb straps in blue ink. The name has not been identified. We can not comment as to the origin of the name and/or if it was applied to the glove while in Cano’s possession.

Conclusion: After a thorough examination of this Louisville Slugger TPX PRO Series PRO4C model Robinson Cano glove, and its supporting documentation, it is our opinion the glove is authentic and was game worn by Robinson Cano as a member of the Trenton Thunder.

Thanks for posting that info about the other name being on the glove. Very interesting.

The name is very difficult to see with the naked eye. The name was written in light blue ink with a thin tip pen. I had to scan it and enlarge it in order to see it. It went through SCGaynors, LeLands, and the person I bought it from in this forum, and none of them noticed the name. John Taube, during his authentication process on the glove found the name. Great work as usual John!

There could be many assumptions why the signature is there: (1) Cano wrote the name on the strap (friend, family member, etc.); (2) the person who stole the glove wrote the name on the strap; (3) the person who ended up with the glove (whether given to them or they bought it) wrote their name on the glove, etc.

However, when presented with the glove, Cano stated it was stolen from his locker, which would in 2003-2004.
