MLB 100th Anniversary Patch AND NL ....

I just found these patches lying in the back of a dresser drawer along with some other team patches. Years ago, I collected commemorative team patches and bought the bulk of them from Murf Denny. I simply forgot I had them until I found them the other day.

They are $150.00 OBO for both and I'll pay for postage.

1) MLB 100th Anniversary patch;
2) 1976 NL Centennenial patch.

Just got a email from another forum member who advised me that the 1976 patch is incorrect because the authentic patches DO NOT have a "copyright" stamp on them. I appreciate the email and as such, this patch is absolutely no longer available.

This patch must have been purchased from another dealer and some how mixed in with the other patches.

I've seen plenty of original 1976 patches, and none have the blue copyright mark. Attached are 2 of my original Phillies knits from 1976 with the original patches. Let me know if oyu have any questions.

Hello forum members. While the subject is out on the floor, let’s discuss it. I personally believe Howard and the 1976 patch I was offering is going to be thrown away. I do not believe there is an issue with the 100th Anniversary patch.

While checking eBay, I found an interesting scenario. One dealer is selling a game used patch (230200061845 - shown on the left) which is like mine while another dealer is selling a replica patch (320199646040 - shown on the right) that looks like the patch Howard is referencing. Which is the correct patch? Again, I’ll side with Howard.

If another forum member(s) wish to add some comments on this issue, lets move it to another section because this section is for "Items for Sale".

Finally, Howard thanx for the email prior to posting your thread.

note that there actually is a (C)opyright symbol on the "pro" patch. it's simply in white lettering so you can't easily see it.
