2 PHOTOMATCHED Charles Johnson HR 6 & Marrero Opening Day jerseys for sale - $300 shipped!

I have for sale 2 amazing photomatched Rockies jerseys. The first is a Charles Johnson 2003 home alternate jersey, with a photomatch from his 6th homerun of the season on June 7th,2003. I'm going to call it a "possible" photomatch though because there isn't enough pinstripes seen in the picture to consider it a "dead-match". The ones that you can see in the photo are the pinstripes on the logo and the side patch, which all match up. The jersey comes with an LOA from Jim's Jersey's. Jersey shows really good game use with the tag faded







The second jersey in this lot is an Eli Marrero 2006 Opening Day game worn photomatched jersey. It is one of only 2 home pinstriped jerseys worn by Marrero during his entire tenure with the Rockies and it was worn for 3 total games (April 3rd,May 4th, and June 4th). I have photomatches from each game. I brought this jersey to Dave Bushing in February, 2007, and he told me that it would easily grade an A10 if sent to MEARS and he appraised it at $350. The jersey was originally purchased from Splinters From The Pine (jerseys2003) in January, 2007. An 8x10 picture of Marrero on June 4th will accompany this jersey.

The pinstripes. The Marrero is a dead-match (Dave Bushing also noted the same thing), but the Johnson jersey is just a possible-photomatch, being that I can't see enough pinstripes in the picture for it to be considered a dead-match

Dude, he was just responding to a question, I think the rule can be given leeway when someone is asked to respond...what, do you expect someone to wait 5 days to respond, come on!

What exactly is this the answer to? My point is that the administrators were good enough to re-instate the FOR SALE thread for the time being and for the good of the board, their simple, easy to follow rules should be adhered to IMO.

I'm a little confused with this rule. I thought that was just for replying to a thread with the word "bump" and that's it? Can't you still update prices though? If not, then GUF needs an edit button.

Sure he did....A post is a post is a post!!!! Or a bump for that matter. With your reasoning, what is to stop someone from adjusting a price by $10 everyday or every other day?????

Answer?? A five day bump rule!!!! BUMP = ANY kind of post to bring your thread back up to the top. Or putting OBO after your price. If someone really wants these jerseys, a $20 difference is not going to make a difference. IMO, they would have already offered $250 or 275 once they saw the jerseys

If you want to answer a question, email the person who asked you the question, otherwise, wait 5 days.

BTW, I agree with the edit button idea & hope you sell these jerseys Kyle

replying to or amending ones post is not a bump.

a bump is a post (to a message board post) that is designed to push that particular post/topic/thread to the top of a forum by simply posting the words :

bump
bizzump
bumpity bump
a bump for you

...you get the picture.

so again, a price reduction or a response to another post is hardly a "bump"

in addition to "bump", some folks also need to look up the definition to the word "petty".

I think this thread has gotten way out of hand. Kyle is trying to sell two great jerseys and everyone wants to get on him about reducing the prices for a quicker sale. I personally appreciate the updates all of the sellers post because it shows they care about the merchandise and the people they are selling it to. Updates are not a "BUMP". Good luck selling Kyle!

This is freaking ridiculous...you get these people on here who are like the darn game used police...let the admins do the admin work and stop community policing!!!!! If it was such a big deal, the one of the admins would have stepped in. Stop trying to be a Jose Canseco and point out what others do and worry about your own self.
